Role of planets in Creation of Progeny

The Moon chart is not valid for consideration regarding conception.

Jupiter - Child birth is caused by Jupiter (artificial Sun-Venus together). It is not considered for the survival of the child but provides for soul of the body.

Sun- (artificial Venus-Mercury together) creates light in the empty womb of the mother, enlightens the fate of parents by virtue of children, brings light to dark homes and controls health.         

Moon- (artificial Jupiter-Sun together) governs wealth, age, pious relations with parents, etc.

Venus- (artificial Rahu-Ketu together) provides soil for the body, family comfort, and facility of child birth.

Mars- [(artificial Sun -Mercury together Mars (positive) Saturn-Sun together Mars negative)] provides blood, capacity to procreate and provide for generation of family line. For a person, it provides virility and keeps the soul and body together. It keeps the progeny alive like growth of a creeper plant.

Mercury- (artificial Jupiter, Rahu together). Controls relationship of progeny with other's, creates and keeps womanhood alive, provides imagination for virility, free space for interaction for self and children with others, respect and honour.

Saturn (artificial Venus-Jupiter together, Ketu temper, Mars-Mercury together Rahu-temper) determines time of birth, property, ill repute, disease and death.

Rahu (artificial condition Mars-Sat (exalted) or Sun-Saturn (debilitated) - causes conflict/quarrels, opposing/silencing Jupiter, blocking entry of soul, causing death and delay in child birth, secret providential obstruction, causing tremors. But helpful to girls.

Ketu (Moon-Saturn-debilitated Ketu, Saturn-Venus exalted Ketu) provides happiness to children, their prosperity, restricting number of male children, Ketu gives male offspring, if it is not aspected by enemy planets.

Desire for sex is created by Mercury, Mars provides strength for procreation and Jupiter gives life to progeny. These three planets (Mercury, Mars, Jupiter) are the three legs of Ketu. Together they form seed (Venus). As the position/exaltation of these three planets, so the chances of child birth. If Jupiter, Mars and Mercury are exalted, they will give excellent results but if Jupiter or Mars are in H.No.6 or 12, and even if Ketu is exalted, the net result is poor.

Birth of children

Venus, Mars, Mercury, Ketu and Saturn contribute to the birth of a child. The period of childbirth will be when male planets (Sun, Mars, Jupiter) and Moon are in No. 1 and 5, Mars H.No.2, and Ketu H.No.l1. Whether it will be a son or daughter will be determined by position and strength of Mercury and Ketu. If Mercury is stronger, it would be a daughter. If Ketu is stronger, it would be a son. If Sun, Moon, Jupiter or Saturn is in H.No.5 it would be a male child. If Ketu in H.No. 11, and Jupiter, Saturn or Moon is in H.No.5 there will be delay in child birth or the child may be born dead or there may be obstruction or difficulty in child birth.

If Venus-Sun-Rahu/Ketu-Mercury-Saturn are in H.No.3, 5 or 11, they will give a male child who will live long. If Ketu is alive it would give son. If Rahu is alive, it would give daughter. Moon in 6th house gives more daugthers and Ketu in H.No.4 gives more sons.

If according to a male chart, Moon is destroyed, it will as well destroy progeny. 40/43 days before child birth, a white carrot and items of Saturn and Rahu may be kept near head side of a pregnant woman at night and are given by her in a temple in the morning.

Time of Birth according to annual chart

1. Jupiter, Sun, Venus and Mercury all alive.
2. Jupiter or Sun or both alive.
3. Mars in Fixed Houses of Venus, Mercury.
4. When Mars-Mercury-Saturn-Rahu together or Saturn in their fixed houses.
5. Moon with male planets-long life for progeny.
6. Mars-Saturn together in grandfather's chart would delay in grand child birth.
7. Venus-Mercury-Mars H.No.3 and H.No.9, II blank- delay in marriage and progeny.
8. Sun H.No.8, Mars H.No.10, II and Moon destroyed, destruction of progeny.
9. Mars and Mercury together-destruction of progeny.
10. Jupiter H.No.I-4 and Mercury H.No.9-12 would give male offspring.
11. Following combinations in annual/natal chart will decide the birth of child.

1. Mars H.No.I-4, Jupiter H.No.5-8, Mercury H.No. 9-12- male.
2. Mars H.No.I-4, Mercury H.No.5-8, Jupiter H.No.9-12- female
3. Jupiter H.No.I-4, Mars H.No.5-8, Mercury H.No.9-12 -male.
4. Jupiter H.No.I-4, Mercury H.No.5-8, Mars H.No.9-12 -female.
5. Mars H.No. 1-4, Jupiter, Mercury H.No. 9-12 -male child, but unlucky for father.

1. If H.No. 5 is afflicted (Rahu-Ketu-Saturn), it will cause obstruction in child birth.
2. Ketu in H.No.1, 2, 5, 7 and Saturn in H.No.1, II (if not as evil) will give male child.
3. If Mercury helps Venus, it will give a male child, otherwise a female child.
4. Male child is born if: -

1. According to birth chart Mars, Venus, Ketu, Mercury or Saturn is in H.No.1.
2. Moon or a male planet is in H.No.1 or 5.
3. Ketu in H.No.11.
4. Mars H.No.1 and Venus, Ketu, Mercury are in H.No.2 as supportive planets.

1. In fact the period of exalted planets will be a period of child birth but also see 'the positions of malefic planets which oppose child birth.
2. Male children are given by friends of Venus (Saturn, Ketu, Mercury) not Venus itself, but when it is in good position (H.No.3, 5, II), Mercury and its friends will help it.
3. When Mercury is exalted or in H.No.3, 5, 11, Sun, Venus and Rahu will help it.
4. If Jupiter is alive (not aspected by enemy planets) all children will survive. If Ketu is alive, all males survive, if Rahu-daughters do so.
5. Moon H.No.6 - all daughters, Ketu H.No.4 all sons. Moon-Ketu together even number.

Number of children

The number of houses that Jupiter is from Venus or Mercury or Venus-Mercury will give number of children. (mean of Jupiter-Mercury, Jupiter- Venus number of houses). The exception of issueless ness will, however, apply. If male planets are alive, there would be no loss of progeny. If Venus, Mercury, Jupiter or any two of them are together, from their position upto the fixed house of any of them or sign Lordship will determine maximum number of children. For example, if they are together in H.No.5, the limit is H.No.l2. Intervening 6 houses are blank.

If Ketu is in H.No 9, three sons (or at least two) will survive. Ketu in H.No.12 gives 6 sons provided male planets Sun, Mars, Jupiter are alive/ exalted.

If Saturn is in H.No.5, there will be only one son till the age of 48 of the native, provided one does not construct a house out of his own earnings. If in a chart, apart from actual Saturn, there is an artificial Saturn also (Venus-Jupiter together- Ketu temper) there would be very large number of children. In case of artificial Saturn, (Mars-Mercury together- Rahu temper), their would be many abortions. Saturn in H.No.7 gives at least 7 sons provided Rahu is not in No.11 and male planets are not debilitated. Saturn in H.No.3, Sun in H.No.5 would make one unhappy on account of children.

In such a case, if Jupiter, Moon or Sun is exalted, children will be born after 36 (age of Saturn) If such a support is not available, child birth will be decided by position of Ketu. If Ketu is also malefic, Venus will decide.

If in a chart, friendly planets of Sun are with it, the child will be better than his father. If enemy planets are with Sun, children will be worse. If in a chart, Jupiter and Moon are separate, mother will live longer. If Moon is posited prior to Jupiter, father lives longer. If Jupiter is prior to Moon, mother lives longer. Company of enemy planets with Jupiter/Moon will damage father/mother, mother-in-law. This will be indicated by the condition of planets in H.No.l,3 and 5.

Large number of children

If any of Jupiter, Venus, Mercury, Saturn or Sun is alive and exalted, it ensures large progeny. If benefic planets are in H.No. 1,3,5 Moon-Ketu together in H.No.5 gives 5 children.

If Rahu is alive in H.No.11 or 5, it will give daughters provided Saturn is not debilitated or in H.No.6. Rahu H.No.9, only one son will survive between the age of 21 and 42. After that, there will be at least 2 more sons. Rahu H.No. 5 is extremely malefic for child birth, if it does not get support of adjoining Moon/Sun (by being in H.No.4, 6).

Relationship Between Parents and Child's birth

            If in chart, friendly planets of Sun are with it, the child will be better than his father. If enemy planets are with Sun, children will be worse. If in a chart, Jupiter and Moon are separate, mother will live longer. If Moon is posited prior to Jupiter, father lives longer. If Jupiter is prior to Moon, mother lives longer. Company of enemy planets with Jupiter/Moon will damage father/mother, mother-in-law. This will be indicated by the condition planets in H. No. 1,3 and 5.

Large number of children

            If any of Jupiter, Venus, Mercury, Saturn or Sun is alive and exalted, it ensures large progeny. If Benefic planets are in H. No. 1, 2, 5 one would have comforts from his children. Good health, wealth, long life and family comforts would come.

1. If Venus is in H.No.2, 6 and gets support of Jupiter and Sun, it forms fish line.
2. If Sun is in H.No.6, 12 and in the company of Mars and Mercury and in H.No.3 there is Rahu or its friend, such a combination ensures progeny.
3. If Jupiter, Ketu aspect Saturn, all the three planets are excellent it will give progeny and comfort of wife.
4. Jupiter Sun, Venus Mercury Saturn all alive and exalted. Only/both Sun and Jupiter alive.
5. Mars in fixed/sign houses of Venus or Mercury and all aspected houses are blank.
6. Mars is alive and benefic.
7. Mars with Mercury, Venus, Rahu in their fixed/sign houses and
8. Saturn is with Sun, Moon, Jupiter in their fixed/sign houses.
9. Mars, Saturn together give sons but grandsons are delayed.

Combinations for having children

Issueless ness

1. If in H.No.1- Mercury/Saturn or Mars/Ketu or Venus/Moon, Mercury or Mars are destroyed.
2. If Jupiter, Venus in H.No.7 and Moon No.8.
3. Moon and Venus opposite to each other and enemy/evil planets are conjoined.
4. If roof and well are covered, it makes. Pregnancy doubtful.
5. H.No.5- Venus, Rahu (only one daughter).
6. H.No.11- Moon, Ketu.

General

1. Male Planets with Moon gives long life to children.
2. Rahu Ketu-Saturn in H.No.5 are damaging for issues, but a planet in H.No. 9 will protect children from its effective day whether it is friendly with planet in H.No 5 or its enemy. For example, if Saturn in H.No.5 and Mars is in H.No.9, a child born on Tuesday will live long. Ketu in H.No.5, Rahu H.No. 9 and if child born in the evening, it will survive. If Rahu is H.No.5, Ketu in H.No.9, child born on Sunday morning will survive.
3. If Venus or Mercury or both are in H.No.5, there is no adverse impact on progeny. But if either or both are in H.No.9, the progeny is adversely affected.
4. If Moon is damaged or destroyed, condition of progeny is similarly affected.
5. If Sun/Moon/Jupiter with Rahu and Ketu are in H.No.5 or H.No.9, the progeny will be affected.

Obstructions of child birth/marriage

1. Venus-Mercury-Mars in H.No.3 without any benefic aspect on them and H.No. 11 blank.
2. Venus or Mercury with in No.7.
3. In H.No. 5th.No.9 or H.No.3 / H.No.9, enemy planets of Sun, Jupiter or evil planets are posited.
4. Mars in H.No.4.
5. Rahu-Ketu-Saturn in H.No.9.
6. Mercury-Rahu in H.No.1
7. Ketu-Venus in H.No.1
8. Rahu alone in H.No.9.
9. Venus Ketu in H.No.1, Mars in H.No.4.
10. Rahu-Ketu-Saturn in H.No.1, 5 or 9, Mars in H.No.4.
11. Sun in H.No 6, Mars in H.No 10 or 11 there will be loss of sons one after another.
12. Saturn, artificial Saturn (Mars-Mercury together-Rahu temper) together in a chart.
13. If Sun is in H.No.12, or Mars-Mercury together by position/aspect or in each other's house/sign they will not make a person issueless.
14. If Jupiter-Venus in H.No.7, and Moon/Mars are destroyed it keeps one issueless.

Venus-Ketu in H.No.1, and Mercury destroyed or Moon Venus are opposite to each other and in houses/company of evil planets or Moon in H.No.8 and one lives near a covered well, these combinations make one issueless.
